Houston Heights Hits No. 4 on List of Top Big-City Neighborhoods
In Houston-centric list news this week, CNN Money put the Houston Heights at No. 4 on their list of top 10 big-city neighborhoods. The Heights is in the company of hipster mecca Silver Lake in Los Angeles, San Diego’s Pacific Beach, Lakewood in Dallas, and Alamo Heights in San Antonio.
Topping the list is New York City’s Park Slope district. CNN also noted the household income and home value for each area on the list. The average cost of a two-room rental in Park Slope is $3,000, while the same in our Heights ‘hood is $2,000, the Houston Chronicle reported Aug. 13 .
